RECREATIONAL TEEN/ADULT FENCING: DETAILS

GROUP CLASSES FOR RECREATIONAL EPEE

Teen/Adult Recreational Épée Fencing. This is a twice a week class that meets for two hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:15-8:15pm.

Monthly group class fees are $200 (these are two hour-long classes). These are auto-charged at the beginning of each month, September - June.

Annual Ltd. Club membership of $175 also applies. This is charged at registration.

Recreational are asked to buy an equipment packages: $325 with épée and bag. Please the details below and click to let us know your preference.

USA Fencing Association membership is REQUIRED.  renew directly please.

Acces membership is now $29/year, August – July.  

We sign up the beginners – but once you are an intermediate – it’s your responsibility to renew.  Some of you who started at the end of last season have been grandfathered.  If your membership expires in 2025 – you are ALL SET.  Search for your number, sign in (use forgot password if you don’t have one!)  and renew your membership directly at USAFENCING.ORG

Equipment PACKAGES 

Recreational fencing has an equipment requirement.  We have most of the equipment at the club and can outfit your fencer with the right size.  We will charge you upon delivery.

There are several options: Please click here and fill out your preference so that we can be ready for you the first day of class!

Package I: Mask, glove, underarm protector, plastic chest plate and body cord $185. 

Package II:  Adds a weapon (foil or epee) and a fencing bag $325. total.

We will continue to lend you a jacket. IF you would like a “full kit” with jacket, knickers and socks - do let us know.

JUMP ROPE AND SHOES

We’d like all of the fencers to come with a jump rope in their bag. You can choose which one!

PLUS Indoor court shoes. They are the BEST for fencing and mean that everyone’s feets are protected and ready for their best fencing moves. We prefer WHITE with stripes vs. dark colors, if possible. Here are some examples:

ASICS Gel Rocket 9 or 10 are also good.
